Prep artists clean up backgrounds in live-action footage, preparing them for the compositor to add effects. The shots they handle, referred to as plates, involve no foreground action, whether still or in motion.
Passionate about movies, we excel in the art of drawing, beginning with mastering the principles of perspective. Proficient in working with three-dimensional geometric shapes and descriptive geometry, we possess expertise in both 2D and 3D projection mapping.
Compositors are responsible for crafting the ultimate image in a frame or VFX sequence, with realistic lighting being a crucial element. They understand the factors that contribute to the realism of an image, including light, color, composition, and perspective.
